Wouldn’t you like to vote for the book you think deserves the award for the best childrens’ book in Massachusetts? Well, you can! By simply reading five of the nominated titles you can vote in the elections in March. See the titles and descriptions on the 2008-2009 Master List. (Scroll to page 3 for the brief summaries.) Each time you read a title, post a comment. Those who have posted at least five comments on five different books will be eligible to vote. We’d love to hear what you think! I really want to vote on one of the books. The first book I want to read is probably the Society of Mysterious Benedicts, because it sounds really interesting. I also want to read Punishment.

I read Martin Bridge ready for takeoff last year. It was a quick and easy read. I reccomend this books to 3rd and 4th graders because it really is an easy book. It would also be a good book if you need a quick book to read for something that you need.

I read the Homework Machine last year also. It was a pretty good book. I liked how they had the different point of views in every chapter. I think the author did a great job doing that!

Hi mrs. Hardy!!!!!
I did not really like any of the mcba books because none of them were about extreme adventures. Also none of the books sounded action packed. Are there any mcba nominees that are like that? THANKS!!!
ps clementine sounds pretty good.

Cole,
Two MCBA books you might find more action-packed are Whales on Stilts (kids fighting against invading monsters) and H.I.V.E. (a school for evil geniuses). Let me know if you need help finding them.

I have read Punished and Drita My Homegirl. They are both two easy books. Both of them are so good. Is there a sequel to Drita My Homegirl? It was so good I couldn’t put it down when i was reading it.
