H.I.V.E. by Mark Walden

Otto Malpense may be a a devious boy-mastermind, but the last thing in the world he wanted was to be abducted to the Higher Institute of Villainous Education. Dealing with evil professors isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, not to mention facing down threatening thugs and man-eating plants. Besides, it’s not easy to know who to trust, when every student there is in training to be a villain. How will Otto ever succeed in breaking out of the H.I.V.E.?

Mrs. Bajema says that it will remind you of Artemis Fowl with a little Hogwarts thrown in.

I just finished reading the book H.I.V.E and I think all of you readers should read this book.I mean come on!This book is only 309 pages long! The children are captured and transported to a volcano called H.I.V.E. They spend six years there training to become evil thieves. The ending has one of the best surprises.
